Brain Waves - About
Brain Waves are routinely recorded by EEG or ElectroEncephaloGraph chart recorders.
Dr. Hans Berger published
the first recordings in 1929.
He noticed a prominent kind of wave when his subject was relaxed
and he called these waves Alpha. Alpha waves are generated in the
Thalamus (the brain
within the brain). Other waves that can be detected are Beta, Delta, and Theta. When the
hemispheres or regions of the brain are producing a wave synchronously, they are said to be coherent.
The Biocybernaut Institute intensive Alpha-1 training uses "state
of the art" amplifiers and filters to analyze EEG to provide real-time
auditory feedback in conjunction with detailed debriefing and
mood analysis. The Biocybernaut Institute offers advanced training for all Brain Waves and
combinations as well as shared feedback and coherence training.
